Yesterday's Severe Storm Cell and Haboob (dust storm) captured from drone. 9-9-17 I tracked this storm for hours online as it grew and slowly moved north of the border from Mexico. My friend Kevin Key and I drove to a location near the west shore of the Salton Sea we had scouted the night before and got ready to intercept. I quickly set up two time-lapse camera's and launched my drone just in time. Minutes before sunset the skies over Imperial County lit up and gave everything a dreamy orange glow that seemed to take all of the fear out of the massive storm fastly approaching. Thirty minutes later it was dark and we celebrated another epic chase day with gas station Tacos and Sandwiches.
